3 Reason to Go Makeup-Free

Makeup has been used for decades by countless women around the world. The use of makeup has been commonly known for its enhancing properties. Many women feel beautiful, dazzled and fierce when using their favorite makeup collection. On the other hand, women have expressed applying makeup as a relaxing, and calming. There are countless reasons, for why women embrace makeup as apart of their daily beauty regimen. However,  I have given a list of 3 reasons why women should consider going bare-face.



 1.(Avoiding Toxic Chemicals) Fat to often, make-up companies do not advertise the harmful chemicals that used to create their products. Chemicals such as Methenamine, Bronopol, Phthalates have been linked to causing liver damage, reproductive system, lungs and has cancer-causing properties. The human face is comprised of approximately 20,000 pores; which leaves access to the chemicals to enter the body.





2. ( Misleading)

        Some would suggest wearing makeup can be misleading or deceptive. Countless jokes have surfaced on the internet of women deceiving men by wearing makeup to bed, and the next being unrecognizable. Makeup has been formally known for its enhancing properties, but others believe it's promoting another form of sorcery.



3. ( Freedom from Pressure of Society )

      For decades society, and the media has placed women under unrealistic standards of beauty. Not all women do not have crystal clear skin and age-defining skin. However, those traits do not define a persons character or talent . Every human is designed given different facial traits; some with freckles, brown eyes, wide noses, big lips. We must accept, embrace and "Rock"  Our perfections as well as our imperfections. Breaking free from social pressures can enable the hidden confidence one has longed for.
